Of Pixels and Interactions
Ruxandra Cristina Bocin-Dumitriu immerses her spectators into all aspects of interactivity.
Her elected themes investigate perception mechanisms, digital dimensions and technologies, media and broadcasting issues, surveillance society and society paradigm shifts generated from new technologies. The artist is on an avid quest to understand how meaning is created through interaction, how translation of actions through different media transforms the meaning itself. Perceptions, both internal and of the world, are recreated in each work to break the bias that the medium creates. Her works are exhibited in United States of America, The Netherlands, Canada, Italy, Romania, Israel and Denmark.
