A good short movie I’ve seen lately

Argent Content,¬†Philippe Dussol’s interesting piece.¬†Great work guys!

I’ve also been at a sound design workshop at the Next Festival in Bucharest and Jamie Travis came to analyze his work on Patterns Trilogy. It is soo good, and I especially liked the fact that these three films are extremely rational in directing approach. I usually don’t like that and I myself try to avoid being overrational when creating, but his works are so much taken into extremes that I can only say it is a perfect small piece of art.

I am working with submodalities and I have discovered sound one of the most important aspect of a movie and one of the least credited by general audiences. The movies are 97% visuals and merely 3% audio. This is not fair :)

Oh, you sound like a movie reviewer (also known as a movie critic:) good job!!!

Thanks :) .. Well, I’m preparing my own short-movie project and this was a good moment to see these screenings with the critique eye :D

There were also some other films I enjoyed much: On s’embrasse? and Spider are the only ones I could find on the internet … so take a look if you have time. On s’embrasse? is exactly the opposite of Jamie Travis…. it is profound and touching and you don’t sense the work behind it.
